Between the ages of 2 and 6 months there is an opportunity to greatly influence a puppy’s future behavior and social interaction.  During this time, puppies need positive exposure to all things they are likely to encounter as adults.  Puppy Kindergarten is a perfect setting for puppies to learn proper socialization and appropriate behavior while they are most impressionable.  Puppies may earn the AKC Puppy Star Award upon completion of the 6 week course.

Classes Include:

• House Training
• Attention skills
• Introduction to loose-lead walking
• Learn basic puppy skills (sit, down, come, leave it)
• Manners (prevention of jumping and mouthing.

Mini Seminars on:

• Feeding
• Grooming
• Gentle handling
• Leadership
• Appropriate games

Puppies will also gain confidence and co-ordination through the use of beginner agility equipment.
